Helping CBBC’s Dengineers build their biggest den ever!

Popular CBBC show, The Dengineers, design and build extraordinary dens for deserving children by transforming a space in their garden or home.

This summer, Smith Engineering were thrilled to help the Dengineers team take on the challenge of building the largest den they've ever attempted.  This was for the Claire House Children’s Hospice in Liverpool.

Smith Engineering is a technology and prototype development company based in Mayport, Cumbria.  They designed and helped install a waterwheel to one of a series of fantastic dens in the hospice grounds. Each den is connected by a wheelchair friendly boardwalk. The children and their families were delighted with the finished project.
